Val-Andre
In 1880, Charles Cotard, collaborator of Ferdinand de Lesseps (Suez Canal) discover the great fine sand beach of the Val en Drets. In the space of a few years, le Val-andre was transformed into a very fashionable coastal resort, visited by prominent personalities....Val-Andre praises hitself to be the Saint-Tropez of the cotes d'Armor
This site enjoys a moderate and soft climate. Its small port: Dahouet is one of the French ports with the lowest rainfall. In 2010, a new thalassotherapy center close to the casino and the 2,5 km walk at the dam, exclusively reserved to the pedestrians, will open its doors to the visitors.
The island of the Verdelet, an important ornithological reserve for seabirds, is drawn up vis-a-vis the port of Piegu. One can reach it at low tide and collect mussels and other shells.
