Infos: Around the lodgings of la Jeannette, pleneuf val andre bretagne

Penthièvre - Emerald Coast it is also the historical richness of  its cultural and architectural inheritance. The protected sites are numerous: myticoles courses, ornithlogicals natural reserves,  national forests, wild moors. They shelter a rich and varied flora and fauna.

Invite to long walks, and the sight on bay of Saint-Brieuc is superb. 24 km of walking almost without dwelling nor noise of the modern world. Site classified since 1943

 

       

Cap Fréhel

This classified site is the place of nesting for many marine birds. From the ornithological reserve, a path carries out the walkers to the Fort Lalatte (XIVe century), where the sight on the pink sandstone course, overhanging the sea of 70 m, is imposing. In clear weather, the panorama over the sea, extends towards the Mount Saint-Michel bay at the east, and to the island of Bréhat at the west .   

 

Le Cap d'Erquy. A pleasant walk by the paths bordered of ferns. The sight extends, on the left, on a transparent sea with its gray-pink rollers, the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, the Point of Arcouest, the island of Bréhat

The natural Site of the Cap d' Erquy, classified site. 170 ha of moors, pink sandstone cliff, exeptionnelles flora and fauna. All the activities related to the sea are offered to you : sailing, diving, fishing.

Erquy, traditional fishing port, capital of Scallop, proposes to you seven beaches of pink sandstone, dunes and wild moors.

    

   

Fort La Latte

Splendid fortress from the 14. Century with drawbridge, classified historical building. In 1715 James Stuart used it as bases for its fights for the trone. Has also been used as coulisses for the film "the Viking".

 

Bréhat

Probably the most charming island in Brittany whose colors attracted painters like Gauguin and Matisse. Bréhat, it is its Borough, its gardens with hydrangeas, mimosas, eucalyptus, its flowered houses, its labyrinth of narrow ways, its moors, its wild splits. Charming aspect of this island, only the bicycles and tractors are allowed to circulate. At 10 mn of the continent, Bréhat reveals a world of silence and perfumes. Surrounded by an archipelago of several tens of small islands, it offers in its southern part a luxuriante vegetation, botanical memories of long course navigations. Spring comes two weeks in advance. More wild than the south, where the beach of Guerzido allows bathes without risks, the northern part offers a long wild coast.

 

 

Dinan and Saint-Malo

Dinan. accomodates each year thousands of visitors at the « Festival of the Ramparts », where during 48 houres, Dinan finds its medieval charm, where knights and churls invade the city and disputes tournaments in this medieval scenery. Many restaurants of high gastronomical qualities are also to be found at this place where it is pleasant to enjoy the local specialities within a beautiful environment. Dinan a city to be visited

 

Saint-Malo, has always lived with the sea and knew how to preserve his rank of first port of the northern coast of Brittany for the trade and transport towards England, Ireland and the Anglo-Norman islands. Ramparts and castle from XV th. Century, the harbour, the Saint-Vincent Cathedral, the Large Aquarium.

Saint-Malo, international capital of sailing, proposes a broad variety of nautical activities and infrastructures of quality.
